Joe Dent is the Chief Executive Officer of Everything Pets, where he leads the company’s strategic vision and growth across four distinct pet service verticals: Zoomin Groomin, Salty Dawg, Cooper’s Scoopers, and Hike Doggie. With more than three decades of leadership experience in retail and pet services, Dent brings deep operational expertise and a proven record of scaling multi-unit, franchise-driven businesses.

Prior to joining Everything Pets, Dent served as President of Franchising & Corporate Bakeries at Three Dog Bakery, where he led strategic expansion initiatives that doubled topline sales across the U.S. and Canada. Earlier, he spent more than 25 years at Pet Retail Brands, advancing from District Manager to ultimately Chief Store Operations Officer. In these roles, he oversaw all aspects of the business including operations, marketing and real estate across a network of more than 1,200 stores in North America.

Beyond his professional leadership, Dent is deeply committed to animal welfare and advocacy. He has supported and served organizations including U.S. War Dogs, America’s Vet Dogs, BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter), and Show Your Soft Side, reflecting a long-standing dedication to the well-being of animals and the people who serve alongside them.
