Empathy in property management is not a poster on a wall, it is whether the tenant with a leaking pipe gets an answer today. Timmi managed properties by hand in the 1980s, with no internet and no cell phones, and later hired a management company that let her units sit vacant for four months and billed her account for other clients' supplies. Both experiences are visible in the software: automated rent collection that settles in a day or two rather than ten, a repair workflow that pushes bids out to the right vendor pool automatically, and a post-repair survey that scores each vendor so the manager can see who is actually doing good work.
The AI assistant is named Grace, and Timmi built her with hard limits. Grace does the work and prepares the choice, then hands it back: “you've got two or three bids for this plumbing repair. It's been a day and a half. Please review these bids now and make a decision.” Grace also declines to play therapist, acknowledging what someone brings to her and steering them back to what needs their attention.
